La plateforme de vente en ligne favorise les échanges directs entre producteurs locaux et communautés de consommateurs qui se retrouvent régulièrement lors de véritables marchés éphémères : les Ruches.

Plus de 1 200 Ruches se sont créées en France, en Belgique, Espagne, Italie, Allemagne et en Suisse. Plus de 10 000 producteurs sont actifs et plus de 210 000 membres commandent régulièrement !

La Ruche qui dit Oui ! allie culture de l’entrepreneuriat social et de l’innovation numérique pour proposer un modèle unique de startup sociale et solidaire. Chaque Ruche a la possibilité de porter un projet autonome tout en s’inscrivant dans une logique collective. Toutes ces micro-entreprises ou associations esquissent les contours d’une nouvelle économie sociale et positive.

Notre objectif : permettre au plus grand nombre de mieux manger en soutenant l’agriculture locale et en rémunérant justement les producteurs !

Job Description

By leading a team of 5 people and few freelancers, the Country Manager (CM) is responsible for all operations that take place in Belgium and the Netherlands in order to develop the brands Boeren & Buren and La Ruche qui dit Oui !

The Country Manager is supported by the Headquarter in Paris and exchanges with the other CMs (France, Italy, Germany, Spain). The HQ is composed of the 2 CEOs that also have the roles of head of the network expansion division and the network development division, the mamaTech (Product and Tech).

More precisely, your mission will be :

  • Expanding the activity of the platform (Gross Sales of 7,5 million euros). Setup the Belgium and the Netherlands operational strategy, activity forecast, annual business plan, budget followup, managing the PnL.
  • Support, animate and grow the existing network by looking for new levers to increase the business volume of the assemblies : develop the community spirit of the network, recruit and train Assemblies Managers and Producers, reach more Members through marketing and communication campaigns, etc.
  • Manage and make grow a multidisciplinary team of 5 people (specialized in different subjects such as Network development and Network expansion coordinations, Communication and Marketing, Administration such as HR and accountancy).

Preferred Experience

  • Good managerial experience. You demonstrate leadership skills while knowing how to inspire, motivate and empower your teams.
  • Entrepreneurial approach, with results-oriented working methods.
  • Strategic and business vision (business school/mba, entrepreneurship, consulting, etc.)
  • Very good communication skills, with ease both in writing and orally, to communicate internally, interact regularly with the network and represent the company to the public/press.
  • Strong operational mindset, you like action, getting your hands dirty, going into the field and you are not afraid to exchange with all the stakeholders to get an idea, be convincing.
  • Experience in network animation or lead is a plus (relational intelligence to move a network of 100 independent Assembly Managers and 1200 Producers).
  • Sensitivity to issues related to the agricultural industry and foodtech.
  • Good English, plus good understanding and speaking of both French and Dutch.
  • Knowledge of the Belgian market is a plus.
